The Somerset Federation of Gardening Clubs was formed in 1984 with a view to promoting friendly gardening interests among Clubs and Societies throughout Somerset, and to provide advice and practical help with the day to day running of club affairs. Since then our membership has grown to include over 240 clubs in Somerset and adjacent counties. The Federation is dedicated to supporting those who are enthusiastic about all aspects of horticulture. Our aims are: To provide our Members with up-to-date lists of judges and speakers (see Publications) To publish an informative Members Newsletter on a regular basis (please click here for Newsletters) To maintain a good relationship with specialist horticultural organisations, societies and gardening clubs in the West Country. To forward the benefits gained from the Federations’ affiliation to the Royal Horticultural Society to our Member Clubs. To promote members flower shows and activities (please click here for Events). To provide a communication link for questions from members and prospective members. To co-ordinate an annual diary of Members shows, garden open events, etc. To offer competitively priced Public Liability Insurance. To offer competitively priced  Cups and Trophies Insurance.
